Volunteers Needed!

The Faith Formation Office needs your help for our Children’s Liturgy of the Word Offering.

Adults are needed to lead the liturgy session for when we ask all children, approximate ages from K to Gr. 3, to gather in the conference room during the mass readings. There we use the Children’s Lectionary to read the scripture of the day to them in a simpler language that the adults hear. We spend a few minutes talking about the readings, usually the gospel, and ask the Lord to help us with any special needs we may have in the week ahead.

If this sounds like something you might like to help with, please come to our introductory meeting on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 6:30pm in the Parish Conference Room.

Please note: If you have not already completed the Diocesan Safe Environment Program (Virtus), you will be asked to do so before working with the children.
