New Season, New Programs!
It’s still summer now, but fall is on the way. The aroma of pumpkin spice latte is beginning to permeate through the coffee shops, and scarecrows and candy begins to fill the aisles at local stores. The nights are thankfully cooler, and change is in the air.
There are some exciting things planned for here at Blessed Sacrament as well! One of these is the start of FAMILY LITURGIES. These will take place usually on the second Sunday of the month at our 10am Sunday Mass.
What is a FAMILY LITURGY? How is it different from a “regular Mass”? A family Mass is a “regular Mass” with all the usual parts, only the homily is tailored to include something for all ages from preschoolers to great grandparents and beyond. We’ll have special worship aides for the younger ones so they can participate more easily, and our older children and teens will help out by serving as lectors and ministers of hospitality. These masses are open to ALL, not just families. Great chance to invite your grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Make our new monthly Family Mass part of your family's routine, for our Church today and our Church Tomorrow! See our bulletin and Flocknote messages for more info!
